Arsenal fan shows off Emery Out banner at Guimaraes clash and Twitter agrees after latest defensive horror show

UNAI EMERY is feeling the heat as Arsenal manager as one fan unveiled an ‘Emery Out’ banner at the Emirates tonight – and plenty on Twitter agree.

The supporter was snapped early on in the Europa League clash with Guimaraes holding the sign aloft and then saw his side put on another defensive horror show.

One supporter held up a sign calling for ‘Emery Out’ as the Gunners struggled again

The Gunners fell behind after just eight minutes when former Tottenham youngster Marcus Edwards was allowed time and space in the box to fire past Emiliano Martinez.

Despite Gabriel Martinelli’s equaliser, the home side went in at half-time trailing when Bruno Duarte reacted to the ball striking the post to slam in.

And it is all getting too much for some Arsenal fans who are now calling for Emery’s head.

Responding to the picture of the kid holding the banner, one said: “Need to see more of these!”

Another wrote: “Arsenal coach instead of fighting the opponents he’s fighting his own players.”

A third replied: “Finally Finally. This is just the beginning of his fallout.”

One added: “What a little hero.”

And a final user joked: “Ozil made that for him.”

Mesut Ozil was left out of the matchday squad entirely for the game against the Portguese side.

The pair were spotted engaging in a frosty exchange in training yesterday and the German was forced to watch on yet again – he has made just two appearances this term.

The 350,000-a-week playmaker may not have helped his case by sending a cryptic tweet yesterday with a picture of him chuckling and the caption: “You make me laugh…”
