Arnold Schwarzenegger is a Liverpool fan as the Terminator reveals his predictions for this weekend

TERMINATOR star and Liverpool fan Arnold Schwarzenegger turned the Red Heat up on their rivals by backing Jurgen Klopp’s men for the title.

With leaders Liverpool and champions Manchester City way in front, their Premier League rivals already look like The Expendables.

And Hollywood legend Arnie is looking forward to Judgment Day in May as the Reds have not won the Prem since 1990.

Schwarzenegger, in Britain to promote new movie “Terminator: ‘Dark Fate“, claimed the force is still strong with Klopp as he made his weekend predictions for the BBC’S Mark Lawrenson.

The former California Governor, 72, told the Beeb’s website: “I like Liverpool. They are not always successful but the momentum is there right now.

“Sometimes, and I don’t know why, they lose some stupid games then they come right back again. When they say ‘I’ll be back’, they are back.”

REDS’ TWO PREDATORS

Also in on the predicting game is Terminator co-star and Ghost Rider actor Gabriel Luna, who will be over the moon if he can beat Liverpool legend Lawro’s ten-game verdict.

Arnie (2-1) and Gabriel (2-0) have both gone for Liverpool wins at Tottenham on Sunday. so that’s “have two the visitors, baby!” … Maybe.

The Terminator two-some’s full assessment of the weekend fixtures are here.

Meanwhile, Trent Alexander-Arnold is targeting a Total Recall after missing out completely on Liverpool’s 4-1 Champions League win at Genk on Wednesday due to illness.

And fellow full-back Andy Robertson is also likely to start despite being taken off on the hour in Belgium.

Predator One and Two, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane, are perhaps the main reason the Reds remain the bookies’ title favourites, despite last Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Manchester United ending their 100 per-cent record.

But The Running Man, Jordan Henderson, is bursting to prove his high-energy, hard-grafting still has a key role as competition for midfield places stiffens for both club and country.

And fit-again Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be one of The Game Changers after netting twice when coming in to start at Genk

Pep Guardiola’s City, though, are now just five points behind Liverpool.

So Arnie will be hoping their form takes a Schwarn dive and their title hopes are just Blue Lies.
