Will Marcus Rashford play for Man Utd against Bournemouth and is Paul Pogba injured?

Why isn’t Marcus Rashford playing against Bournemouth?

The Man Utd striker is unlikely to feature against Bournemouth after picking up an injury in the win over Chelsea in unusual circumstances.

The 22-year-old was celebrating his stunning free-kick winner in the Carabao Cup, deciding to celebrate with a knee slide.

But he was subbed off just seven minutes later with ice going immediately on his knee.

Is Paul Pogba playing today?

While Rashford may still be involved against Bournemouth, Pogba will definitely not feature at the vitality Stadium.

That comes after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed he will be out until at least December.

The Frenchman has been suffering with an ankle problem, last playing on September 30 against Arsenal.

Solskjaer said after last week’s victory over Norwich: “I don’t think we’ll see him maybe before December.

“He’ll be out for a while. He needs time to fully, fully recover, so I don’t think he be back before then.

“Maybe Sheffield United after the international break but it will probably be in December before you can see him.”

Who else is injured?

Harry Maguire is a doubt for the clash, among a number of injuries – particularly in defence.

Fellow centre-backs Victor Lindelof and Marcos Rojo could also miss out, while Eric Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe are certain to be unavailable.

Diogo Dalot is still out with a leg injury, while Nemanja Matic has a knock.
