Arsenal post happy birthday message to Unai Emery but fans hijack it with #EmeryOut hashtag

UNAI EMERY’S Arsenal woes are mounting after fans hijacked a post from the Gunners wishing him a happy birthday with an ‘#EmeryOut’ hashtag.

The under-fire Spaniard turned 48 on Sunday, a day after his side extended their winless Premier League run to three games after they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Wolves.

Unai Emery is under increasing pressure as Arsenal boss after a slump in results

Jose Mourinho has been heavily linked with taking over at the north London club after he reportedly dined with Arsenal’s head of football Raul Sanllehi.

And Emery’s troubles off the pitch are now growing after Arsenal’s attempt to wish the former Sevilla boss a happy birthday epically backfired.

Fans immediately flooded the comments section by demanding his “present” be to quit the Emirates, with others started an ‘#EmeryOut’ hashtag.

One supporter tweeted: “Happy bday but sorry it’s time to go.”

Another said: “As a birthday gift he should get sacked.”

A third added: “Good Ebening but it’s time to go!!!!!!!!!! Love you Unai but #EmeryOut.”

“Happy birthday Unai Emery. The best birthday present the club can give you is a 6M cheque buying off the remainder of your contract, thanking you for your services and wishing you the best of luck for the future.

“You get the money and we get our Arsenal back. A win win for all,” a fourth proposed.

Emery was booed by Gunners fansas his stuttering side drew 1-1 at home to Wolves but he insisted he will not quit as manager.

The Spaniard, whose contract expires next summer, is facing calls from some supporters to go.

But he shrugged off the pressure, saying: Im more demanding of myself and feel a responsibility to work and come back better.
