Jockey Raquel Clark undergoing further tests in hospital after horror fall at Morphettville Racecourse

JOCKEY Raquel Clark has reportedly regained consciousness after a horror fall in Australia on Saturday.

Clark fell from Goodgee after finishing fifth in race seven at Morphettville and was knocked unconscious from the impact.

Goodgee clipped heels with another horse after the line, dislodging Clark and throwing her over the top of the mares’ head with Goodgee rolling on top of her.

She was transported to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for further observation and scans but early indications suggests she has full movement of her limbs.

The Thoroughbred Racing South Australia stewards reported she was ‘responding appropriately’.
