THIS year’s Cheltenham November meeting may have only been two days rather than three, but there was enough potential on show to draw firm conclusions.

Her five-year-old Hang In Therewas taking on a glut of exciting sorts in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle trial but proved far too strong, delivering a series of knock-out punches from two furlongs out before staying on strongly up the hill.
He saw off six-timer seeking Pacifywith the pair clear of the rest and looks a smart prospect for owners Tim Syder & Andrew Gemmell.
Jatiluwih
David Maxwell is quickly making his way up the jockey ranks and has an able and willing partner inJatiluwih.
Philip Hobbs’ French import has made quite a splash since strutting his stuff in Britain and followed up two novice hurdle wins with a commanding victory in the Class 2 Intermediate Handicap Hurdle on Saturday.
He had to come from a fairly uncompromising position but did it emphatically and after he’s reassessed will be one of the highest rated novice hurdlers in the country.
Festival dreams could be on the horizon for young Maxwell, who’s one of the most enthusiastic riders in the weighing-room.
Getaway Trump
Don’t give up on this fellow just yet.
Paul Nicholls’ chaser hasn’t had his share of luck in two starts over fences, first time blowing out before whacking the second-last on Sunday.
He came there on the bridle both times and clearly has bucketloads of talent, despite not having managed to get home on either occasion.
You can guarantee he’ll be a different prospect on faster ground and remains a big player for the Festival.
