Arsenal 2 Southampton 2: Gunners make it six games without a win despite Lacazette double

ARSENAL’S shocking run of form continued as they made it SIX games without a win following a 2-2 draw at home to Southampton.

Danny Ings put the visitors in front with just eight minutes played before Alexandre Lacazette powered in to bag his first goal since September 1.

James Ward-Prowse bagged another hammer blow to Unai Emery by sticking in the winning goal at the Emirates

But while the Gunners looked for a winner, at the other end Kieran Tierney pulled down Ings – it was checked by VAR and the penalty stood.

James Ward-Prowse stepped up to take it, saw his effort saved by Bernd Leno but tapped his rebound into the empty net.

But Lacazette’s second – coming deep into injury time – rescued a point for the Gunners but it was hardly enough to lift the mood at the Emirates.
