Man Utd in talks with Arturo Vidals agent as out of favour Barcelona star pushes for transfer

BARCELONA midfielder Arturo Vidal is reportedly on the radar of Manchester United as they eye up a January move.

The 32-year-old – who has started just three La Liga games this season – is said to be unhappy about his limited game time and is believed to be open to a move away.

Manchester United are reportedly keen to bring Arturo Vidal to Old Trafford in January

In a recent interview, the Chilean international stressed he will weigh up his options this month to see if he has a future with the Blaugrana.

He said: “If in December or at the end of the season I think I am not important here, I will have to find a solution and evaluate the horizons to be so again.”

According to FcInterNews, the Red Devils have made contact with Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich.

They claim that United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has a good relationship with Felicevich having worked with him in the deal that saw Alexis Sanchez join Inter Milan.

The report also adds that United are keen to sign a high-profile midfielder in the winter transfer window.

It has been claimed that Barca would be willing to part ways with Vidal should they receive a sum of around 13million.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side face competition from Inter, who are understood to be interested in bringing him to the San Siro on loan.

Vidal would reportedly welcome a move to join the Nerazzurri where he would be reunited with former Juventus boss Antonio Conte.

The two-time Copa America winner has chipped in with four goals and one assist in 13 games in all competitons this term.
