AFTV Out graffiti scrawled on wall near Emirates Stadium as Arsenal fans turn on critical YouTube channel

AN alleged Arsenal fan has sprayed AFTV Out graffiti on a wall near the Emirates Stadium in a public attack on the polarising YouTube channel.

Set up in 2012, the fan account boasts over 1 million followers and has since established a reputation as an outspoken and unofficial voice of Gunners supporters.

Such is the club’s distaste for their antics,Arsenal forced the YouTubers to rebrand from Arsenal Fan TVand remove the team name from their moniker last year.

Gunners legend Ray Parlour has claimed that the social media channel ‘wants’ Freddie Ljungberg’s side to lose because it is better for ratings.

To back up his point, Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Chelsea in September 2016, captioned ‘That’s The Best Performance I’ve Seen Here’, currently has over 178,000 views.

While the Gunner’s 3-1 defeat to West Brom the following March, which was posted with the title ‘Sack Wenger NOW!!!’ has since been watched by more than 1 million fans.

Arsenal’s recent defeat to Brighton has meant the club are on their worst run of form for 42 YEARSand are without a win in nine games.

And it appears some fans are taking their frustrations out on AFTV host Robbie Lyle, and contributors DT and Troopz for benefiting from the recent turmoil in north London.

After news broke of the graffiti on Twitter, one supporter wrote: “Good on whoever did this #ArsenalFailTV #AFTVout #boycottAFTV.”

Another said: “I endorse this 100%. They have had a huge impact in creating such a toxic atmosphere at the arsenal.”

Yet others disagreed and added: “Blaming a fan channel for a teams bad performances is the most stupid thing Ive ever seen. Also, they are really entertaining so #AFTVin.”

The graffiti even grabbed the attention of AFTV contributor Mr DT who tweeted: “AFTV give their opinions on Arsenal via various social platforms, who ever done this gave their opinion on AFTV by committing a criminal offence, idiots.”

AFTV has even garnered headlines for divisive relationships with Arsenal’s players, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang liking a series of criticial posts made by the channel’s Instagram at former manager Unai Emery.

In addition, strike partner Alexandre Lacazette gave his thumbs up to one image captioned “Xhaka can f**k himself as well [as Emery].”

Yet Hector Bellerin was among those against AFTV, claiming last year that some people just cant take opinions about themselves.
