PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are reportedly set to try and bring Pep Guardiola to Parc des Princes to replace Thomas Tuchel as boss.

The current PSG gaffer is believed to have fallen out with star men Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, bringing extra pressure on his position.

PSG are reportedly lining-up a swoop to bring Pep Guardiola to Parc des Princes

And the Manchester City manager is allegedly the man picked out by the French sides top brass to lead them next season, say Le10 Sport.

PSG will also be further encouraged by the break clause in Guardiolas contract at The Etihad, which was revealed last week.

And the latest report also states the Spaniard will be joined at the Ligue 1 club by his former Barcelona star Xavi Hernandez.

The ex-midfielder is said to be ready to join his old boss as No2.

Guardiola is currently under contract until 2021.

However, despite denying the break clause, that allows him to leave City at the end of the season.

The former Bayern Munich man has enjoyed huge success in the Premier League but his men have endured a poor start to their latest title defence and trail leaders Liverpool by 14 points.

City are allegedly confident that despite reports of his break clause, Guardiola will remain in the dug-out next season.

But PSG will be buoyed by Citys average opening to the campaign and will be hoping that he fails to lead them past Real Madrid in the Champions League last-16 to further intensify the speculation and pressure on his future.

When Guardiola was recently quizzed over leading City next year, he said: I’m open [to it], yes.

It is not about what the club wants or not. For me, I want to see my players and the reaction of my players and everything.

It is not as simple as I want to extend.

I want to see the club, I want to see the players, I want to see how we are still working together.
