MANCHESTER CITY’s Kevin De Bruyne has shown he is not just a star on the pitch but off it too.
The midfielder and his wife Michele surprised children at Manchester University NHS and showered them with presents as part of the ‘Kicks for Kids’ campaign.
Michele posted a selection of photos from the heartwarming visit on her Instagram page.
The model from Genk captioned the post: ”Thank you for the warm welcome, it was wonderful to see smiles on these children’s faces”.
The 28-year-old Man City ace himself posted some images of the trip on his own Instagram, adding the exact same touching words as his spouse.
The pair handed out trainers to the delighted kids and one little girl was given a Man City scarf.
The festive period sees footballers take time out of their busy schedules to give back to some of their fans, with hospital visits popular.
A number of Manchester United players visited Royal Manchester Children’s hospital earlier this month.
Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford were among the stars to spread some cheer.
Manchester United goody-bags were handed out to the youngsters and players posed for selfies.
Aside from making hospital visits, Premier League aces have a busy fixture schedule to deal with.
Boxing Day and New Year’s Day games mean there is little let up.
