Bayern Munich join Chelsea and Man Utd in 100m transfer battle for Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund

BAYERN MUNICH are ready to fight Manchester United and Chelsea in the race to sign Jadon Sancho.

The England star is already wanted by United and Chelsea as they look to spend on turning their squads into Premier League contenders.

Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund

But now it has been claimed that German giants Bayern are looking at trying to capture the 120million-rated Borussia Dortmund star.

Sancho is expected to be leaving Dortmund in the summer but his destination is yet to be decided,

Whoever buys him is going to need to come up with a bid in excess of 100m if they want to persuade the Bundesliga club to do business.

And the Metro reports that Bayern hold a strong interest in trying to secure the services of one of the brightest young talents in world football.

The club is going through a major overhaul as they look to replace Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, and following the departure of Niko Kovac late last year.

New coach Hansi Flick has been told money will be made available to bring in fresh young talent, and Sancho appears to be one of the players he is interested in.

Bayern have a history of raiding Dortmund for some of their best players in the past, with the likes of Mats Hummels, Robert Lewandowski and Mario Gotze all making the move to Munich.

So there is history for some of the biggest names in the German game being transferred between the two clubs.

But it has been suggested that when they sell, Dortmund would favour letting him move abroad rather than to a Bundesliga rival.

Dortmund know they are in a strong position to demand a huge fee for the teenager, who has scored 12 goals in 24 appearances for the club this season, as well as providing a string of assists.

United have retained a long interest in Sancho, and would easily be able to find the money to pay any fee asked – but they are struggling to be in a position to offer Champions League football next season.

Chelsea contacted Bayern earlier this season to find out about the availability of the player and were told the price and warned he would not be available until the end of the campaign.

Both United and Chelsea have asked to be kept informed of any developments or change of situation.
