, Layvin Kurzawa changes agent amid Arsenal transfer interest as PSG set 6m price tag on left-back

ARSENAL target Layvin Kurzawa’s decision to link up with Kia Joorabchian has reportedly boosted his chances of signing this month.

Gunners chief Mikel Arteta is desperate for options at full-back with Kieran Tierney and Sead Kolasinac sidelined.

Arsenal target Layvin Kurzawa has fallen out of favour at PSG

SunSport revealed Arsenal are lining up a 6million move for Kurzawa after 25m Tierney was ruled out for at least three months by a persistent shoulder problem.

Le Parisien are reporting that no formal contact has been made with Paris Saint-Germain but Joorabchian is trying to push through a deal after meeting with the France ace’s family.

PSG are understood to be OK with sanctioning an exit if their asking price is met as they have Juan Bernat and Abdou Diallo to cover at left-back.

TheArsenalboss admitted: We have a lot of issues at the back and the fact that Calum Chambers has suffered a big injury has modified our plans.

I believe we can compete for what we want with the current squad, but if this scenario changes, Im expecting that we will go into the transfer market and try to solve this issue.

It has to be the right player in the right financial context that we can attract.

Thats not easy in this market but I do have a transfer wish list, just in case.

French international Kurzawa has already rejected a potential move to Inter Milan – who turned their attention to Ashley Young – and is understood to have set his sights on the Premier League.

He has played 11 Ligue 1 games this season – coming off the bench five times – after falling behind Bernat as the first-choice option.
