Who is Francesca Cumani, is she an Cheltenham Festival presenter and is she married?

THE Cheltenham Festival is nearly here with punters eagerly looking forward to four days of top racing action.

And with ITV holding television rights in the UK, viewers will be getting used to seeing the likes of AP McCoy, Ed Chamberlain and Francesca Cumani.

Who is Francesca Cumani?

The 36-year-old was born in Newmarket, Suffolk – home to one of the best racecourses in the UK.

She hails from racing royalty with her father Luca a former trainer and breeder from Italy who won the Epsom Derby, King George and St Leger.

Francesca’s grandparents were also involved in horses, with her nan Elena a champion amateur jockey and granddad Sergio a popular trainer.

Cumani will partner former Sky Sports presenter Ed Chamberlain every day at the Cheltenham Festival

Is she an ITV presenter?

Francesca will be one of the faces of the Cheltenham Festival for ITV.

She became one of ITV’s presenters in 2016, often showing off her glamour and racing knowledge at events including Royal Ascot.

She will feature alongside ex-Sky Sports man Ed Chamberlain as well as former jockeys and trainers like AP McCoy.

Is she married?

Francesca married Australian polo star Rob Archibald in 2014, welcoming their son two years later.

But with both spending much of their time at opposite ends of the globe, they ended their relationship in October 2018.

Now, she can cosy up to ITV Racing commentator colleague Oli Bell with the two getting together as he comforted her during her marriage troubles.
