The Uzbekistan boxer could barely get to his feet after being floored

Melikuziev, who won a silver medal at the 2016 Olympics, was as short as 1-25 with some bookies to continue his undefeated streak.

Veteran Rosado was a 9/1 shot for the upset.

But the fight was all over in the third round when Rosado landed a huge right that flattened Melikuziev.

There was no need for the referee to count as the 25-year-old Uzbekistan boxer was spark out.

It led to wild scenes at the Don Haskins Center, El Paso as Rosado gave his career a huge shot in the arm.

Melikuziev had stopped all six of his opponents before meeting wily veteran Rosado.

And it was the 35-year-old’s night as he delivered a sensational KO success.

Rosado has lost 13 of his 40 fights, some of those coming against the likes of Gennady Golovkin, Brit Martin Murray and former WBA middleweight world champ Daniel Jacobs.

And the general consensus was that it was just what Rosado ‘deserved’ as he ‘never ducks anybody’.
