Furious Man Utd fans demand money back from MUTV as streaming issues leaves them unable to watch Derby clash

FURIOUS Manchester United fans have slammed MUTV after experiencing issues with their match stream for today’s pre-season clash with Derby County.

Subscribers tuned in to the match to get a look at how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s side are shaping up for the new season.

Tahith Chong gave the Red Devils the lead after 18 minutes.

But many supporters weren’t able to see it.

One wrote on Twitter: “MUTV already down. Don’t know why I try with this football club.”

While another fumed: “You lot at #MUTV need to get a grip. What’s the point of paying to watch a game when you can’t watch the game?”

A third added: “MUTV not even working. Daylight robbery.”

Another asked: “@ManUtd are you gonna be refunding for my subscription to MUTV that has gone down during the game?”

A monthly pass for MUTV costs £7.99, while fans can currently buy an annual pass for £29.99.

RAMS FUME

And it appeared the problem wasn’t just limited to United fans.

Derby County tweeted: “We are aware that some supporters may currently be experiencing issues with the stream of today’s game.

“Our Streaming partners are aware of the issue & are working to resolve their platform wide problem. If your stream is working as normal, you don’t need to do anything.”

Rams fans were equally frustrated, with one replying: “We expect a refund then or a partial refund if you can get it working again!

“This happens all the time, especially around the pre season or early in the season. Need new streaming partners!”

Derby fans had to pay £10 to watch the match through Rams TV.

The Rams eventually sought to assure their fans that issues had been fixed at half-time.

They tweeted: “We understand this issue has now been resolved by our streaming partner.

“We thank you for your patience.”
