JOHN FURY revealed his son Tommy will earn more than ‘some world champions’ for his fight with Jake Paul.
The celebrity fighting rivals are set to put unbeaten record, reputations and bragging rights on the line against each other.
They fight over eight rounds at a 192lb catchweight on December 18 in Florida, which will be pay-per-view in the US and UK.
And with their combined fanbases sure to tune in, Tommy’s dad and coach John predicted it makes for a blockbuster cheque.
He told entrepreneur Rob Moore: “Listen, Tommy’s getting paid more money for this than some world champions.
“He’s getting paid in the millions, so if we get millions for getting wet we’re gonna do it, because it’s good business.”
Tommy, 22, comes into the fight 7-0 and more experienced than YouTube star Paul, 24, who is facing his first opponent of prior professional boxing experience.
The social media star previously beat YouTuber ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, also 37.

But he beat ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, 39, in his last fight, with Paul winning against his sparring partner Anthony Taylor, 32, on the undercard.
It set the grudge match up, but John admitted the rivalry could continue as they eye big brother Logan, 26, afterwards.
He said: “If he’s on his game, Tommy, and he’s firing on all four cylinders.
“Easy night’s work, easy money and the winner goes on to bigger and better things.
“We’ll get the brother out the game as well, then we’ll start looking at conventional titles for him.
“A brother is gonna wanna redeem another brother isn’t he. When he knocks Jake Paul out, the brother’s gonna wanna take his part ain’t he.
“But I don’t think so because the hiding Tommy’s gonna give Jake Paul, the other brother won’t be interested either.”
Logan is the most inexperienced of the trio, having only three times boxed before.
Firstly, he drew with online rival KSI, 28, in a 2018 white collar bout but won the rematch a year later by split-decision when they turned pro.
But in June he returned for a sensational exhibition with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, 44, which went the distance.
After technically avoiding defeat to Mayweather, Logan is now in rumoured talks with heavyweight icon Mike Tyson, 55, who made his return last November.
