Diogo Dalot agrees with Gary Neville’s ‘whinge bags’ criticism and tells Man Utd team-mates to improve ‘body language’

DIOGO DALOT has agreed with Manchester United legend Gary Neville’s ‘whinge bags’ criticism and has called on his team-mates to improve their ‘body language’.

The right-back played 90 minutes in the draw at St James’ Park against Newcastle.

And after the full-time whistle, main men Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo ran off the pitch without acknowledging the travelling away fans.

Neville blasted the pair, slamming the example they’re setting for the younger players in the squad.

Dalot, one of the younger members in the team, agrees with Neville’s assessment and has called on his team-mates to improve their ‘body language’.

He said: “There are times you will show frustration but we want to build that positive body language.

“It gives us energy and the other team less motivation.

“We want to be positive and have momentum, whether we make a mistake or not.

“It’s a good type of advice to give to us. 

“We always have the opportunity to give a good image and performance.”

The Red Devils find themselves four points adrift fourth place Arsenal, but have two games in hand.

United take on European hopefuls Wolves on Monday, who have been going about their business quietly this season.
