Man Utd star Paul Pogba wanted by PSG on free transfer at end of season ‘with midfielder interested in move’

PAUL POGBA appears set to leave Manchester United – and Paris Saint-Germain could be where he’s heading.

The France international is nearing the end of his contract at Old Trafford.

Paul Pogba hasn’t played for Manchester United since October

And while United have tabled an extension offer, there is little sign of the 28-year-old putting pen to paper any time soon.

PSG have a long-held interest in the player and appear to have edged out Real Madrid as favourites to land his signature.

Now reports in France say Pogba is warming to the idea of moving to the Parc des Princes.

And L’Equipe claim the relationship between the maverick midfielder and interim boss Ralf Rangnick may be a little frosty.

The newspaper reports Pogba knows the manager ‘isn’t necessarily his biggest fan’.

Rangnick has previously insisted the World Cup winner must prove himself fit before discussing his future in England.

He has not played for the Red Devils since the 5-0 humiliation at the hands of Liverpool back in October due to a combination of suspension and injury.

Club doctors have given him the green light to return to light training following the thigh problem he picked up playing for France.

Pogba would be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs this month.

Former employers Juventus are also in the mix but would not be able to offer the sort of wages PSG could stump up.
