Watch Muhammad Ali’s grandson Nico instinctively perform grandad’s iconic shuffle in brutal second-round KO over Yeager

FANCY footwork seems to run in the family.

Muhammad Ali’s grandson Nico performed the boxing legend’s iconic shuffle in a brutal victory over Jeremiah Yeager.

Nicol Ali Walsh dispatched Jeremiah Yeager inside two rounds

Ali’s grandson is undefeated in four fights as a professional

The 21-year-old scored a stunning second-round knock-out to maintain his undefeated record.

And he spontaneously paid tribute to his grandad with the ‘Ali Shuffle’ just before landing the blows that saw the referee stop the fight.

He told Sky Sports after the fight: “I didn’t plan (the Shuffle).

“It was emotional, of course. So much has been going on, but yeah, I didn’t plan on doing that. It’s just something that happened.

“I think the main thing was staying calm, which I did. Another thing was head movement and defence, which I felt like I did improve on. I fought last month.

“So if I can make those small improvements in this such a short amount of time, who’s telling what I can do in my next fight?”

Nico Ali Walsh has won all four of his professional fights so far.

He claimed knock-out wins in his first two bouts before triumphing in a majority decision against Reyes Sanchez last month.

Yeager posed little threat to the man ten years his junior in their Tulsa, Oklahoma meeting.

Ali Walsh had his opponent on the canvas in the second round before moments later following up with the combination that stopped the fight.
