MAURICIO POCHETTINO is wanted by several Manchester United players but he could move to Real Madrid instead.
Ralf Rangnick is tasked with finding his successor and is believed to be keen on Pochettino and Erik ten Hag.
And it appears many of his squad support bringing in the Argentine, who looks set to win Ligue Un in his first full season in charge of Paris Saint-Germain.
One player keen to work under Pochettino is Luke Shaw, having previously played under him at Southampton.
And according to the Manchester Evening News, the pair still keep in contact.
United made an approach to appoint Pochettino in November but PSG blocked his departure.
But he has reportedly kept in touch with the club since then and could make a move in the summer.
However, The Red Devils will need to act quickly to land Pochettino given interest from elsewhere.

Real Madrid are believed to have Pochettino on their shortlist of candidates to succeed Carlo Ancelotti.
And given the former Southampton boss was keen on moving to Real or back to Tottenham last summer, it is possible he would jump at the chance to return to La Liga.
Pochettino has 18 months left on his contract but reports in France tipped him for a summer exit earlier this month.
United will definitely be looking for a new manager then, unlike Real, and with Poch keen to manage in the Prem again United have a good chance of bringing him to Old Trafford.
