Chelsea star Christian Pulisic wanted in Juventus transfer with star’s future in doubt after Roman Abramovich sanctions

JUVENTUS are reportedly eyeing up a raid on ruined Chelsea to snatch Christian Pulisic.

The Bianconeri’s interest in the 23-year-old winger comes after Roman Abramovich was blocked from selling the club for profit – amid several other sanctions following Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s Ukraine invasion.

Juventus are planning to raid Chelsea for Pulisic

Juve’s proposed swoop for Pulisic comes after Blues owner Abramovich was sanctioned leaving the club on the verge of going bust

The UK government’s decision to punish Abramovich has left the Blues on the verge of going bust if the oligarch doesn’t opt to walk away from Stamford Bridge penniless.

And Juve – it seems – have been keeping a close eye on the turmoil unfolding in West London.

Italian publication Calciomercato claim that the Serie A giants are planning to offer US skipper Pulisic a way out of the chaos.

Pulisic may be open to the idea of joining Juve as he previously expressed frustration at being played out of position by Blues boss Thomas Tuchel.

The wing wizard’s had a tough time at Chelsea since joining them for £58million in 2019.

He was also forced to watch from the bench as his team-mates cruised to a 3-1 victory over Norwich in the Premier League on Thursday night.

But his exit would give the Blues another headache as Abramovich’s sanctions mean they can’t buy any new players until he rescinds control of the club he’s owned for just shy of 19 years.

In addition, the Blues cannot offer players new contracts with Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta all set to depart on free transfers.

Calciomercato state that Massimiliano Allegri’s side also want Rudiger, along with fellow Blues Hakim Ziyech and Jorginho to accompany Pulisic to the Allianz stadium.

However, acquiring Rudiger may prove difficult with Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid all keen on the defender.

Despite Juve’s interest in Chelsea’s players, the sanctions mean the Blues are unable to sell any of their stars – so any deals would be complicated.
