Frank Warren and team sing Happy Birthday to Dillian Whyte in bizarre video ahead of Tyson Fury title fight

BOXING promoter Frank Warren has raised eyebrows after a cringeworthy rendition of Happy Birthday to Dillian Whyte.

The Body Snatcher was probably wondering why Warren, who promotes Tyson Fury, was being so kind to him ahead of the pair’s mouthwatering heavyweight clash on April 23.

The promoter then told Whyte “We’ll see you next week”

Warren previously slammed Whyte as “disgraceful and unprofessional” for not attending a press conference to preview the fight.

Whyte’s lawyer claimed his big-fight silence was in response to his treatment from Warren, who won the £30million purse bid and right to hold the fight.

But now all that seems to be forgotten.

Warren rounded up his staff at Queensbury promotions for an awkward rendition of Happy Birthday on the day Whyte turns 34.

The 70-year-old then had a personal message for Whyte once the group has finished serenading the 28-2 star.

Warren said: “Dillian, I hope the training is going well down in Vilamoura.”

He then turned and pointed to a huge poster of Fury that loomed behind him and continued: “He’s waiting for you!

“The man’s waiting for you, so you better be in tip-top condition. We’ll see you next week.”

Fury and Whyte’s encounter is set to be watched by a record British crowd of 94,000, which will eclipse the current record of 90,000 set by Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko back in 2017.

It will be Fury’s first fight in the UK since clashes with Sefer Seferi in Manchester and then Francesco Pianeta in Belfast back in 2018.

But the Gypsy King will be without regular cutman Jacob ‘Stitch’ Duran when he comes to blows with Whyte.

Unable to travel for the fight, Duran has been replaced by British cornerman Frank Hopkins.
