Wallin gave Fury one of the biggest scares of his career

But an undisputed title decider could await following the rematch between AJ and Usyk this summer.

And Otto Wallin – who gave Fury 47 stitches in their 2019 fight- cannot see his old rival walking away just yet.

The Swede, 30, told iFL TV: “I’m having a hard time seeing him retire. If he can have some time off now, enjoy his family, and be with his kids.

COLD CALL

Tyson Fury tried to call Joshua after Whyte win and was ‘harassing everyone’

“If he can get the winner there and unify all the belts, how can you retire?”

Joshua, 32, was beaten by Usyk, 35, in the summer and their contracted rematch looks set for July.

Even Fury’s wife Paris revealed the unification super-fight is all that could tempt the Gypsy King back.

She told BT Sport: “For Tyson to keep boxing, it just seems for one reason and I know in my heart, I think the only reason that Tyson will come back is for the unification fight.”

Fury, 33, fought at home for the first time in four years, having completed an epic trilogy with Deontay Wilder, 36, Stateside.

But the two-time champ insisted enough is enough.

He said: “I promised my wife Paris and I meant it. I had the trilogy with Deontay Wilder and she wanted me to retire then.

“But then I was offered this and I owed it to the fans and everyone at home in the UK.

“I have to be a man of my word so this might be the last fight. Thank you United Kingdom.

“I am overwhelmed with the support, i cannot believe my 94k men and women came here tonight.

“From the bottom of my heart thank you much for spending your money on coming or staying up and watching on TV.”
