F1 star Daniel Ricciardo ‘trashed whole floor’ of hotel during wild party with team-mate Lando Norris kicked out of pool

IT turns out McLaren stars Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris are quite the party animals.

Australian Ricciardo even admitted he once “trashed the whole floor” of a hotel during a wild stay.

Team-mates Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris recalled their wildest party experience

The 32-year-old has enjoyed his fair share of get-together’s during his nine-years in F1.

But nothing tops the time he wiped out the entire floor of a hotel.

Ricciardo was speaking at a McLaren and Hilton hotels event ahead of last weekend’s Miami GP.

When asked to recall his most memorable experience, Ricciardo admitted: “I mean, I didn’t merely trash the room, I trashed the whole floor.”

He was joined on stage by Brit Norris, who despite not being part of the glamour that comes with F1 for as long as his team-mate, still knows how to party.

The 22-year-old revealed he once got booted out of a hotel swimming pool for being “naughty,” but continued partying up in his room.

He said: “We got kicked out of the pool. We were being naughty in the pool and everyone, not just me, got kicked out.

“So we went up to the rooms [and] had a nice party in the rooms.

“And that was that, so I apologise if there were any disturbed people in the ground above and the ground below.

“But yeah, it was good fun.”

While the pair have partaken in crazy antics off the track, their fortunes on it have not been so wild.

Ricciardo took the chequered flag in Miami last weekend way down in 13th, while Norris didn’t finish the race at all.

The Brit did finish on the podium in Imola though, and also has a P5 and a P7 to his name this season to leave him 24 points ahead of Ricciardo in the standings.
