Watch crazy NASCAR crash as THREE All-Star favorites eliminated from race as car almost flips after 185mph collision

THREE cars were eliminated from the NASCAR All-Star Race after a dramatic high-speed crash at the Texas Motor Speedway.

Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott and Ross Chastain were all unable to continue after the hair-raising 185mph collision on Sunday night.

Busch had won the opening stage of the night in Forth Worth as the drivers battled for the $1million prize.

The Joe Gibbs Racing driver looked in good shape to take the chequered flag after leading for 47 laps.

But a flat tire saw him swerve into the low lane, where Chastain and his Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 were motoring along at nearly 200mph.

Chastain smashed into the back of Busch’s car and launched into the air, with just one wheel remaining on the tarmac as he the driver completely lost control.

But the carnage was not over as Chastain’s No1 flew down the straight and hit the back of Elliot’s No9.

That caused him to spin out wildly towards the barriers in a cloud of smoke, smacking into the side and also putting out of contention.

All three drivers escaped without injury – although Chastain admitted that his collision with the wall “hurt big”.

He said: “I saw Kyle [Busch] have an issue like a tire down and I guessed left and I should have guessed right. Big hits.

“Big hit into Kyle. I didn’t think the wall would hurt as bad as it did when I hit the wall.”

All three drivers had been in contention and there was no-one more disappointed than Busch, who up until that point had been in control of the race.

Busch told FS1: “We had a really fast race car, great race car, led all the laps to that point, obviously.

“Disappointing to not be able to finish it out and go race for a million bucks.”

The dramatic NASCAR race went to overtime, where Ryan Blaney in his Ford saw off Denny Hamlin to pocket the winner-takes-all $1m.
