Haaland netted 29 goals in 30 appearances in the most recent campaign, while Nunez bagged 34 times in 41 games.

Kane himself struck 27 goals in 50 games in all competitions, despite struggling at times in front of goal.

The forward only netted once in the Premier League before December 5.

But the Tottenham talisman is hoping the added competition next season will spur him on to a fourth Golden Boot, which would equal Thierry Henry’s record.
