LIVERPOOL have agreed a deal to sell Takumi Minamino to Monaco in a deal worth up to £15.5million – DOUBLE what they paid for the Japanese foward.

According to multiple reports, Minamino has already agreed terms on a contract and now only needs to complete a medical.

The deal is said to be around £13m up front with £2.5m in potential add-ons.

Minamino, 27, has been a cult figure at Anfield despite his limited playing time.

He scored 14 goals in 55 games but failed to nail down a regular starting place at Liverpool.

Last season he managed just 11 Premier League appearances with only one of those coming from the start.

Still, Liverpool will double their money on Minamino, who was bought for around £7.25m from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020.

The Reds will have a new look frontline next season with Minamino joining Sadio Mane out the exit door.

The Senegalese superstar arrived in Germany on Tuesday to complete his deal to Bayern.

He was pictured in the club’s training kit having completed a medical with an announcement expected imminently.

Jurgen Klopp has already moved to sign replacements for Mane, with Luis Diaz arriving in January and an £85m deal for striker Darwin Nunez announced earlier this month.

The Egyptian is yet to sign and could leave on a free transfer next summer.
