The sport’s biggest starts will be in action this year, including defending Men’s champion Novak Djokovic.

Home favourites Andy Murray and Emma Raducanu, who made a name for herself at SW19 a year ago, will also be present.
Seven-time champion Serena Williams is back and gunning for an eighth title, following defending champ Ashleigh Barty’s retirement earlier this year.
And unlike last year, where tickets were only available online because of Covid-19, this year, one of the more traditional ways of obtaining a ticket is back.

How can I get Wimbledon 2022 tickets?
Tickets are usually given to members of the public who apply through the public ballot.
Normally, having applied in advance, you’d be given random seats on any random court at any random price.
But this year, the ballot for the 2022 Championships were not open.
That’s because those who were successful in the 2020, when the tournament was cancelled due to Covid, retained their tickets for this year.
Last year, tickets were only available through an online portal.
Applications for the 2023 Championships closes on December 30, later this year.

Can I get tickets on the day?
You certainly can.
Queuing is back at SW19 this year after two years away from the famed tradition.
Usually, there are 500 tickets available each for Centre Court, Court One, Court Two and Court Three.

That’ll be the case this year, and then a ground pass which allows entry from Court Four to Court 19 will also be available to purchase.
Tickets range from £8 for a ground pass all the way up to £240 for Centre Court tickets.
It’s also possible to purchase returned tickets from the All England Club ticket office from 3pm.
Spectators often leave early, return their tickets, and the seats remain valid for the rest of the day at a cheaper price.
