WAYNE ROONEY has ruled out the possibility of bringing Luis Suarez to DC United.
The Manchester United legend faced off against the ex-Liverpool forward during the Uruguayan’s time in the Premier League.

And Suarez is currently a free agent after he was released by Atletico Madrid when his contract expired at the end of last season.
New DC United manager Rooney is keen to add to his squad in the summer transfer window with his side currently bottom of the Eastern Conference.
But Suarez is not someone England’s record goalscorer has his eye on.
Speaking in a press conference, he said: “I respect Luis Suarez a lot – he’s an incredible player – but what I want players who are hungry.
“I want players to come to this club who are hungry and who want to come to the club but also have a lot to give and are capable of playing every game, attending every training session.
“So we’re working extremely hard to identify the right profile of players we want to bring in and I’m sure in the near future, we’ll have an announcement to make on new signings.”
Suarez, 35, scored 34 times in 83 appearances during his two seasons at Atletico.
But his 13 goals in the 2021/22 campaign were not enough to see his contract renewed and he is now a free agent.

Aston Villa, Marseille, Inter Milan and AC Milan have all been linked with a move for the ex-Barcelona man this summer.
But the South American striker has discussed the possibility of moving to the MLS, albeit with some reservations about their season ending one month before the World Cup.
He told Radio Sport: “The market in MLS is very complex, some clubs want you but they don’t have the slots, and so it would have to be for January.
“Other clubs want you now but I have to evaluate if they have a chance to qualify for the playoffs.
“I’m not closing the door to anyone and I’ve listened to all the offers, but if some MLS teams don’t qualify for the playoffs, they end their season in the first week of October, and that’s not useful for me because I would stop for a month ahead of the World Cup, which wouldn’t be good for me.”
