Fans all say the same thing as Bukayo Saka and Arsenal squad wear iconic Arsene Wenger coat for chilly Bodo/Glimt trip

BUKAYO SAKA scored for a second straight game on Thursday to earn Arsenal a 1-0 Europa League win at Bodo/Glimt.

But apart from yet another brilliant performance, his thick jacket also caught the eye.

The jackets were reminiscent of Arsene Wenger’s iconic coat

Mikel Arteta’s side had to travel to a town located INSIDE the Arctic Circle for the Europa League clash.

So the Arsenal squad made sure to wrap up warm for the trip to freezing Bodo.

Plenty of long coats were packed for the journey to stave off the freezing temperatures, with Saka quickly putting one on when he was subbed on the hour mark.

And the jackets only reminded Arsenal fans of one person.

Fans were all in agreement that the legacy of Arsene Wenger’s iconic long coat still lives on in the current Arsenal squad.

One wrote on social media: “Bukayo Saka following the footsteps of Papa Wenger. An Arsenal tradition.”

Another said: “Arsene Wenger’s legacy lives on.”

A third joked: “You can kill the man but not idea.”

And a fourth quipped: “They should put that Wenger Coat in a museum.”

Saka’s deflected effort in the 24th minute gave Arsenal a third win from three in the Europa League.

The Gunners have backed up their superb domestic form in Europe and are well placed to top Group A and qualify for the knockout stages.
