MANCHESTER CITY have been told that the “jury is still out” as to whether Erling Haaland has improved them.
The lethal forward has bagged a record-breaking 17 goals in his first 11 Prem outings – including THREE hat-tricks.

Haaland, 22, also has five goals in four Champions League appearances… but one pundit somehow isn’t convinced that he’s improved Man City.
Speaking to BoyleSports, former City and Liverpool midfield Dietmar Hamann said: “If you’ve got a player who scores 40 goals per season then of course you’re dependent on him.
“Whether Man City are better off with him in the team we’ll have to wait and see at the end of the season.
“They haven’t managed to win the Champions League and that’s one of the reasons they signed Haaland.
“Even though Haaland has scored 15 or 16 goals already in the league, I think the jury is still out on whether he has improved Man City in the long term.”
On where Pep Guardiola stands among all-time great Prem managers, Hamann added: “Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger didn’t have the spending power that Man City have.
“When Sir Alex was a manager, he was competing with at least four or five teams who had a chance of winning the league and that isn’t the case anymore.
“Pep Guardiola has done fantastic things in the league but his mission isn’t complete until he wins the Champions League.

“Until he wins that, I’d have to put Wenger and Sir Alex above him.”
Haaland limped out of City’s clash with Borussia Dortmund last week with a foot injury.
He missed the subsequent 1-0 victory over Leicester on Saturday, with Julian Alvarez deputising.
Following the match, Guardiola offered an update on his star striker’s fitness ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Sevilla.
He said: “I am pretty sure against Sevilla, no. We have already qualified.
“And against Fulham we will see. We have six days, I think so, seven days until that day. We will see.”
