Chelsea interested in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia transfer from Napoli… but will cost TEN times what they paid months ago

CHELSEA are reportedly interested in Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia… but he could set them back a huge £86MILLION.

The 21-year-old Georgian international only joined the Italian outfit at the beginning of this season.

Kvaratskhelia has been a sensation since arriving in Italy

He left Rubin Kazan in March following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and signed for Dinamo Batumi in his home country.

But in the summer he then agreed an £8.6m move to Napoli.

And he has already more than repaid that transfer fee, contributing eight goals and 10 assists in his opening 17 games for the club.

He has quickly become a fan-favourite among the Napoli faithful, with supporters affectionately nicknaming him “Kvaradona”.

But, according to the Evening Standard, Chelsea are keen to bring him to Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Liverpool are also thought to be interested in him following a stellar start to life in Serie A.

However, Kvaratskhelia’s agent Christian Emil has claimed the young forward could cost TEN times more than he did just four months ago.

Speaking to Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, he said: “You know what’s crazy, he’s done what he’s been in doing in Russia and Europe for the past couple of years.

“He’s come to Napoli, he’s been brilliant, and people are talking about 100m euros.

“For me, if he continues to perform like this till the end of the season and next season, because there’s a zero per cent chance they sell him [in January]… he will reach 100m euros for sure.”

Chelsea have been linked with a host of other transfers including Jude Bellingham and Leandro Trossard.
