Arsenal and Everton eye transfer for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard

ARSENAL and Everton are reportedly tracking Celtic’s free-scoring striker Odsonne Edouard.

The French striker had been in magnificent form before the coronavirus halted Scottish football.

Odsonne Edouard is reportedly being tracked by Everton and Arsenal

Edouard has scored 27 goals in 45 games in all competitions for the Hoops this season, bagging 19 assists along the way.

The 22-year-old joined Celtic from Paris Saint-Germain in a permanent £9million deal in July 2018.

He spent the previous campaign at Parkhead on loan, finishing with 11 goals in total.

And now, according to Le10Foot, there are a whole host of clubs interested in signing him.

Arsenal and Everton lead the chase from the Premier League, while Euro rivals Borussia Dortmund and French trio Marseille Lille and Lyon are all waiting in the wings.

He could cost as much as £37.5m if he decides to leave the SPL.

If Arsenal do indeed make their move, it won’t be the only bit of business they do this summer.

The Gunners will reportedly listen to offers for several players in the summer – but plan to strengthen their squad in three areas.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette are among the players linked with a move away.

According to The Athletic, Mikel Arteta will entertain offers for a number of his players at the end of the season.

Aubameyang, 30, reportedly wants to leave this summer amid interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The Gunners could allegedly let Ozil, 31, leave on a free because they are prioritising new deals for other players.

And Arsenal are said to have given Alexandre Lacazette the green light to leave during the summer window.
