COVENTRY CITY could be made homeless after Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group issued them with an eviction notice.
Ashley, 58, the former owner of Newcastle, bought the Coventry Building Society Arena last month.

It came after he had purchased the ground’s three former operating companies.
Ashley‘s Frasers Group, who claim Coventry City no longer have any right to use the venue, will reportedly give the second tier outfit time to vacate – with the club’s next home match coming against Swansea on December 17.
BBC are reporting that officials at the club were told on Friday they must return keys and access cards.
An FA Youth Cup game last Saturday was moved to Leamington Town FC.
Frasers do not feel they are obliged to honour the previous licence agreement with the stadium’s old owners, Wasps rugby club, after they went into administration back in October.
The stadium was built in 2005 when Coventry were in the Championship.
A dispute with landlords saw them move to Northampton Town’s Sixfields ground for a season in 2013.
And they also switched to Birmingham City’s St Andrew’s stadium in 2019 after rent problems.

Following two campaigns there, they returned to the current ground in 2021.
Over the past decade, Coventry have dropped down to as low as League Two – where they spent one season between 2017 and 2018.
However, the West Midlands club have responded in recent years with a couple of swift promotions.
Clambering back into League One at the first time of asking, manager Mark Robins then secured a return to the Championship just two years later after Covid brought the campaign to a premature end.
And that’s where they have remained ever since – finishing 16th and then 12th last season.
But further problems have persisted with the ground – specifically with the pitch – after it was used for rugby sevens matches during the Commonwealth Games earlier this year.
