How Man Utd could line up against Crystal Palace with Weghorst in line for debut and Martinez returning

MANCHESTER UNITED will be looking to stretch their winning run to TEN when they take on Crystal Palace.

Erik ten Hag‘s side have been in scintillating form since the season resumed and are still in both cup competitions.

Wout Weghorst could be in line to make his Man Utd debut at Crystal Palace

And they can now overtake rivals Man City to move second in the Premier League with victory at Selhurst Park.

They head into the clash on the book of their stunning Manchester derby triumph, and boss Erik ten Hag could have two new options to choose from.

In terms of injuries, Ten Hag will be sweating over the fitness of Diogo Dalot after the Portugal star was withdrawn after just 34 minutes against Charlton.

He boldly picked Tyrell Malacia at left-back and Fred in midfield to face City.

And he may decide to tweak his line-up again in an effort to help manage their demanding fixture schedule.

David de Gea will definitely be between the sticks, and with Dalot still struggling, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is expected to be a right-back to take on his old club.

Left-back Luke Shaw has excelled in recent weeks at makeshift centre-half alongside Raphael Varane.

But after placing LIsandro Martinez on the bench at the weekend, Shaw could return to his natural position with the Argentina star joining him in the back four.

Fred started alongside Christian Eriksen and Casemiro in the middle on Saturday, forcing Bruno Fernandes to play down the right.

However, Ten Hag could put the Portuguese ace back in his preferred No.10 role, which would allow Anthony to be recalled and put on the right.

Marcus Rashford is in red-hot form after his latest matchwinner, and he will be down the left.

Anthony Martial, who is struggling with injury, was replaced by Anthony at the break last time out.

And if he is not deemed fit enough to start, then that would most-likely see Wout Wegorst, who has joined on-loan from Burnley, handed his debut upfront.
