Arsenal have ‘concrete interest’ in Bayern wonderkid Angelo Stiller… but must include buy-back clause to seal transfer

ARSENAL are reportedly keen on a move to bring Bayern Munich starlet Angelo Stiller to the Emirates at the end of the campaign.

The 19-year-old played against the Gunners during pre-season last summer, and the North Londoners are said to have kept tabs on him since.

Bayern Munich starlet Angelo Stiller is a reported summer target for Arsenal

According to German news outlet Sport Bild, Arsenal have shown concrete interest in the defensive midfielder.

The left-footed teenager has impressed in academy games this season as well as in the third-tier for Bayern II.

In the six Uefa Youth League games he has appeared in, Stiller has chipped in with six assists and one goal.

And with his contract to expire in 2021, Arsenal are claimed to be ready to make their move for the player.

But they state he will only be allowed to leave this summer should Bayern insert a buy-back option on him for the future.

Stiller is understood to want to remain at the Bavarian club with his main goal to establish himself as a first team regular.

However the report suggests the player want to make the step up to the first team football as soon as possible, leading to a potential exit away from Bayern.

Despite limited funds being available for Arsenal in the summer, it is expected to be a bust transfer window for Mikel Arteta’s side.

A swap deal between Alexandre Lacazette and Atletico Madrid ace Thomas Partey has been speculated.

And Arsenal are believed to be battling rivals Chelsea for the signature of Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu.
