Man Utd transfer target Jadon Sancho given deadline by Dortmund to sort future and will NOT sell during season

JADON SANCHO has reportedly been told to decide his future before the start of next season amid interest from Manchester United.

The German transfer window is open until October but Borussia Dortmund have told the England ace they will not sell him once next season has started.

Jadon Sancho has been given a deadline by Dortmund to sort his future

Sancho has been continually linked with United for months and Dortmund want it sorted in the off-season, according to German outlet WAZ.

The Bundesliga giants recently revealed they would only sell the 20-year-old for £117million.

But United are reportedly only willing to pay £50m.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently laughed when asked to rate United’s chances of signing the England international.

And in a recent interview with Bild, Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Burki said Sancho needs to stop using his age as an excuse when he makes mistakes.

He said: “He shouldn’t have any special rights. Players his age only learn that if we draw a line together.

“You can’t always say ‘he’s still young, he’s still young’.

“There has to be a learning curve eventually.

“There are rules in a team. And those who don’t adhere to them should be given a sporting punishment.

“That hurts players a lot more than then they get fined. Jadon is a special character, a good guy.

“And maybe one of the reasons why he is so carefree on the pitch is because he’s a very easy-going and relaxed person off it. But it’s about finding a balance.

“The newspapers are constantly writing about ‘Super Sancho’, so it’s difficult to make him understand that he has to change something.

“Since he was 18 or 19, he has been praised as if he’s already one of the best players in the world. But that’a long way off.”

Sancho recently liked a tweet that said his head is already at United.

Sancho, 20, joined Dortmund from Manchester City’s youth ranks in 2017 for just £10m.

But such has been the England ace’s meteoric rise, the Germans are hoping to receive more than TEN times that fee this summer.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid are other leading contenders to sign Sancho in the upcoming window.
