Man Utd star Harry Maguire spotted with nametag on washbag at Norwich days after forgetting coin toss role

FORGETFUL Harry Maguire won’t be misplacing his washbag anytime soon because he leaves his nametag dangling off it.

The Manchester United ace was pictured heading into the Carrow Road away dressing room clinging onto his belongings with his name drooping down.

It comes just days after the world’s most expensive defender forgot his captain’s duty.

Maguire, 26, was left red-faced in his first game wearing the United’s armband after appearing to forget he had to do the coin toss.

He jogged off with the rest of his team-mates before kick-off against Partizan Belgrade before the referee summoned him back.

Maguire could laugh about the incident after the contest by writing: “Last time I did this you did the coin toss in the centre circle. Its been a long time.#LetMeOff”

But Maguire can be forgiven for his gaffe, given that it was his first game as United captain in the absence of regular leader Ashley Young.

The ex-Leicester man has obviously kept the tag on since international duty because there is a small England badge next to his name.

Unlike the majority of Premier League superstars, Maguire proved he’s not fashion conscious after rocking up to Three Lions duty carrying a bin bag on his belongings.

Ahead of his first ever cap, the defender turned up to his first training session last August with his kit in a bin bag.
