But The Mirror claim the 48-year-old is the most wanted man in Manchester.
City reportedly see Pochettino as an option to replace Pep Guardiola next summer.
Guardiola’s contract at the Etihad is set to expire in seven months.

If he does not extend to stay, City look likely to make their move for Poch.
But the former Tottenham manager is also the top candidate to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer has come under-fire in recent weeks following his side’s shaky start to the season.
Manchester United have managed just one win from their opening three league games.
They lost to Crystal Palace, narrowly beat Brighton then suffered a shock 6-1 defeat to Spurs.
And club chief Ed Woodward is reportedly prepared to sack him if the poor run continues.
