Former 90s supermodel to horse racing owner, Kylie Bax has changed her life completely

Bax has a longstanding friendship with Donald Trump

The leggy blonde bombshell appeared on the runway for Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Christian Dior, Gucci, Christian Lacroix and many more.

While in her prime, she was also front and centre of ads for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, Clinique and Versace – earning over a million pounds during her lucrative career.

Along the way, Bax made friends in high places – most notably Donald Trump – who she backed for presidency back in 2016.

But despite living a life that many would envy, her real passion is for horses.

That’s why today she runs a successful horse racing syndication business.

FAME AND FORTUNE

Bax was discovered in a shopping mall in New Zealand by an agent from Clyne Model Management.

Soon, realising her marketing potential she relocated to New York and began work as a fashion model.

Aside from modelling various fashion houses’ latest collections, she has also appeared on several magazine covers, including Vogue, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar & Mode Australia, Maxim, Vanity Fair and ELLE.

As a modelling career blossomed, Bax branched out into movies

Despite her success in the fashion industry horses have always been Bax’s one true love

And ever ambitious, Bax supplemented her income by starring in a number of Hollywood films.

Her most famous movies were Perfume and Kirsten Dunst comedy Get Over It, which both came out in 2001.

FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES

Bax has a long-standing friendship with Donald Trump since the 1990s.

At one point, the pair were rumoured to be dating. However, that’s never been confirmed.

But when Trump announced he was running for presidency, and was labelled a misogynist by various female commentators, Bax jumped to his defence.

Bax backed Trump for president in 2016

“He’s a very generous man, he’s very kind. He’s obviously a very smart man who knows how to negotiate deals,” she told NZ newspaper the Herald.

“If your friend was up for president you would probably back them too.”

She also labelled the women who attacked him after claiming he made unwanted advances towards them as desperate for “five minutes of fame.”

HORSING AROUND

A love affair for horses started when Bax was a small girl growing up at Blandford Lodge in Thames in North Central New Zealand.

“My father started in the industry when I was nine years old,” Bax revealed.

“I remember sitting down in my parents’ lounge when I was a kid and watching the Kentucky Derby and that sort of solidified everything for me.

“I said to my parents, ‘I’m going to buy a farm in Kentucky one day’ and I did! That’s how my love and passion came about for the Thoroughbred.”

Eventually, she bought some land and called her farm the B Ranch in the late 90s.

Bax has now established herself in the racing world as a syndicator

Her biggest success has with Beauty Generation, who is the star of the Hong Kong racing circuit

Her biggest success has been Beauty Generation, known as the superstar of the Hong Kong racing circuit.

From 2018-19, he won all 10 of his races – eventually losing its winning streak at the the Group Two Oriental Watch Sha Tin Trophy.

“I don’t think people understand how hands on I am – I am seven days a week,” Bax revealed about her love of racing.

“It’s why I can’t be there to cheer on Beauty Generation but hopefully I can get more people interested and involved in racing with me and racing in general.

“I love it, I have always loved it and will always love it.”
