Watch jockey pull off ‘most incredible recovery ever’ after going totally airborne from horse in race at Naas

JOCKEY Kevin Brouder left fans utterly floored with this miraculous sit – that somehow averted disaster.

The rider was sent totally airborne on 12-1 horse Forza Milan following a mishap at the final fence.

This is the incredible moment jockey Brouder was sent totally airborne from his horse
It looked for all the world like the rider would fall before his incredible recovery

Brouder landed back on the horse in a heap

He then fell off to one side before miraculously righting himself and finishing the race

Fans were left absolutely stunned after Brouder recovered from this position

In third place at the time, TV cameras caught the moment Brouder appeared to lose control.

He was cast into the air with one hand off his reins and just one foot remaining in his irons.

Even when he landed back on the horse it seemed certain he would be unseated when he fell to his side.

But showing absolutely remarkable skill, the jockey righted himself to stay aboard and finish the race in fourth place.

The ‘ridiculous’ sit was hailed by fans – even if the sight of Brouder bobbing along to the post was hilarious.

One racing fan said: “Unreal! Bet the poor guy is singing soprano for a few days.”

Another posted: “The bloke’s fully come off the horse and landed it perfectly.”

A fellow Twitter user wrote: “One of the best sits you’ll ever see.

While another went one further and commented: “That’s the most ridiculous and incredible sit I’ve ever seen. Wow.”

One post read: “More than well sat – blimmin’ amazing.”

Brouder’s moment of magic was some good news to come from Naas after a day mired in controversy.

The race before was delayed by 18 minutes after a loose horse caused total carnage.

A golf buggy, 4X4 and several track workers tried in vain to catch runaway Melly And Me as he gave them all the absolute runaround at the Irish course.

And then, when the race did start, one horse veered and forced three others wide.

The starter should have called a false start there but incredibly allowed the horses to run, with one of those sent wide at the start, Aarons Day, somehow battling back to finish second.
