“Any of them. Joe Joyce would knock him out and Dubois would do the same.”

Putney pounder Joyce is currently the mandatory challenger for Oleksandr Usyk’s WBO heavyweight title.

Warren said: “We’ve worked very hard over the last few years on this heavyweight scene and we’ve guided our guys in different organisations and we’ve boxed it off a bit so I’m pleased.

Guard Techniques

To defend himself from being attacked, a boxer uses his entire body. He does this by using his legs.

Legs

Boxers must use their legs to defend themselves against kicks. If he gets kicked, he raises one leg and turns away from his attacker. To avoid being kicked on the sides, he bends at his knees when the attacker strikes from the front. If the attack is from the side, he will bend his knees to avoid being kicked on the side.

Elbows

Because they inflict pain, elbow strikes can be very effective. You can either deliver an elbow strike directly, or indirectly. Directly means that you hit your opponent with your forearm while indirectly means that you hit him with another part of your arm.

Hands

Boxers use their arms to stop incoming blows. To do so, they raise their fists above their head and move them towards the direction of the attack. They then make contact with their attacker’s fist.
