Canelo Alvarez’s insane car collection, with boxing champ owning blue Bugatti Chiron, £2m LaFerrari and Shelby Mustang

CANELO ALVAREZ certainly knows how to shift through the gears in the boxing ring.

Away from his day job, the four-weight world champion is a huge petrolhead and owns a fleet of enviable supercars.

Gennady Golovkin is next on the hit-list with a trilogy showdown against GGG penciled in for later this year.

Canelo is now at the top of many pundits’ pound-for-pound rankings and has an estimated net worth of $140million.

The champ certainly seems to enjoy spending his hard-earned cash but is renowned for being humble and down to earth with his fans.

Mystery of bones found in barrel weeks after odd double disappearance of woman

Alvarez came from small beginnings and has amassed his huge wealth thanks to lucrative PPV deals and a bumper $345m contract with DAZN.

He’s shelled out on some impressive motors to fill his giant garage at the Guadalajara mansion he shares with wife Fernanda Gomez.

Canelo loves his cars and proudly shows them off in the huge Mexican residence, with the fleet featuring some of the world’s most powerful vehicles.

He has at least nine rapid cars in an epic fleet, including a flagship blue Bugatti Chiron and a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.

The Bugatti is one of the fastest production cars in the world, going from 0-100kmph in just 2.5 seconds and topping out at a mind-bending 261mph.

Canelo has nicknamed the speedster ‘Smurf’ due to its bright blue paintjob, with the estimated cost of the car around $3million.

And with just 500 made, Alvarez is in an elite club of owners which includes soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.

‘IT’S ELEGANT – THAT’S WHY I LOVE IT’

The Lambo meanwhile is another favorite of the speed-freak, costing $600,000 and churning out an impressive 566bhp.

No celebrities garage would be complete without a Brabus B63S 700, the hulking six-wheeler known as the ‘Beast of Beverley Hills’.

Canelo’s is an all-black colossus, weighing in almost FOUR tonnes.

And he has a smaller, four-wheel version of the car for when six is just a little bit too much.

Just like Canelo’s boxing style though, there’s not just brute force in his car collection – there’s a bit of finesse too.

Along with the hypercars and beefy 6×6’s, Canelo can opt for a change of pace and go cruising in a slightly more civilized Rolls Royce Ghost.

Draped in luxury from bumper to bumper, the Ghost features a rumbling 6.6L V12 engine and a stylish cream leather interior.

The boxing star admitted that he prefers a chauffeur to zip him around in the Bentley, while he very rarely takes his super rare Ferrari Testarossa out for a spin.

Canelo told Graham Bensinger: “I saw the [Ferrari Testarossa] in the movies when I was a kid.

“I always wanted it – but I never drive it.

“The [Rolls Royce] is for special occasions, but I never drive! It’s elegant, that’s why I love it.

Canelo splashed out $65m on a personalized yacht in 2021 and in recent years his garage has swelled too.

If he fancies a spin around Guedelajara, Alvarez has a Mustang 500 Eleano, Shelby Mustang, Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Urus, and limited edition Lamborghini Gallardo at his disposal.

But the jewel in his crown is a relatively new purchase – a gorgeous $2.8m red LaFerrari.

One of the most sought-after cars ever made, the Italian masterpiece can reach 217mph and is described by the company as having the ‘most extreme performance ever achieved by [a Ferrari].

A model was auctioned off in 2017 to raise money for charity, going for $9.4m and making it the most expensive 21st-century automobile ever sold at auction.

Canelo’s fight against Dmitry Bivol will be held in Las Vegas on Saturday, with the ring walks expected around midnight ET.
