CHRIS EUBANK JR has ‘a few surprises lined up’ for his next fight as promoter Kalle Sauerland teased a ‘monster’ bout with Kell Brook.
Eubank Jr returns to the ring tonight in a domestic middleweight grudge match against Welshman Liam Williams in Cardiff.
A win leaves the son of English boxing legend Chris Sr poised for a world title challenge this year alongside the biggest names in the division.
Sauerland told Sky Sports: “I think we’re going to see an absolutely standout performance by Eubank.
“Then guess what, we’ve got a few surprises lined up for the next fight.
“I can’t say too much but we’re very, very close already to securing the next opponent, and it’s going to be big.
“But as I said, there’s many options. There’s one or two other ones that we’ve got our eye on, but we do have our firm target.
“This year is going to be a big, big year but we can’t overlook tonight, Liam Williams is going to come to fight, Chris is ready for that.”

Brook, 35, finally fights long-time rival Amir Khan, also 35, on February 19 which will end years of feuding between the pair.
And a win for Sheffield’s former welterweight champion could set him up for another British blockbuster.
Sauerland continued: “If Kell Brook beats Amir Khan – which is a fantastic fight 50/50 – if Kell Brook comes out on top in that fight that of course that suddenly becomes a monster.”
Eubank Jr and Brook, despite campaigning two weights apart, have feuded in the past before.
It started in 2016 when Brook jumped to middleweight to fight Gennady Golovkin after talks with Eubank Jr broke down.
Golovkin, 39, and his IBF belt remains Eubank Jr’s No1 priority this year, but Williams can put an end to those hopes with an upset tonight.
