Conor McGregor's Show of Support
Conor McGregor has made a surprise gesture of support for Australian boxer Ebanie Bridges by secretly flying out one of her close friends, ring girl Chloe Ellman-Baker, to San Francisco. McGregor wanted to show his support for Bridges ahead of her fight against Miyo Yoshida on Saturday at the Chase Centre.
A Hidden Journey
Chloe Ellman-Baker's journey to America was kept under wraps as McGregor wanted to surprise Bridges. The two ring girls, Chloe and Bridges, had formed a connection while working at boxing events and were introduced to each other by fellow ring girl Alissa King-Underwood.
A Friend and Mentor
Chloe Ellman-Baker has become a close friend and mentor to Ebanie Bridges, who started her career as a ring girl before becoming the Bantamweight world champion in 2022. Chloe admires Bridges' journey from ring girl to a powerful force in the ring, breaking boundaries and challenging expectations.
The Unveiling of Forged Irish Stout
McGregor's surprise visit coincides with the launch of his drinks brand, Forged Irish Stout, which is sponsoring the ring girls for the fight. Chloe comes from a Matchroom boxing heritage, as her mother, Julie, was also a ring girl and appeared at notable boxing events in the past.
Chloe has gained her own fan base with over 27k followers on Instagram.
