Dana White refuses to rule out signing Logan Paul as YouTuber pleads for UFC deal after making WWE debut

DANA WHITE has refused to rule out signing Logan Paul after the YouTuber pleaded for a UFC deal.

The UFC president was a guest on Paul’s podcast and had been asked whether he would give the American a shot in the octagon.

White told Paul: “Who would you want to fight?

“You have wrestling and boxing. Do you ever do jiu-jitsu? I’m not saying no. I’m not saying no.”

Paul then joked: “I could get it done, Dana. Dana, sign me, Dana sign me. Dana, sign me now!”

White referenced recruiting WWE star Brock Lesnar in 2008, who later became UFC champion.

But pro wrestling icon CM Punk was also signed by the UFC – losing his two fights with the risk backfiring.

White said: “I brought Brock in. But Brock won the heavyweight championship. You know what I mean?

“I brought CM Punk in – that one didn’t go as well as Brock.”

Lesnar, 44, recently praised Paul and his younger brother Jake, 25, who is an unbeaten 5-0 boxer.

He told New York Post: “Great for YouTube. I’m happy for those guys.

“They worked at something. They built their name up. They thought outside the box, they promoted themselves.”

Paul, 26, first boxed in 2018 in a white collar bout against online rival KSI, 28, which ended in a draw.

But he lost their rematch a year later by scrappy split-decision when they turned professional.

Paul only returned last June but did so in a shock exhibition against boxing icon Floyd Mayweather, 45, which ended without a winner.

Due to his amateur wrestling background, the social media influencer has teased a switch to MMA.

But Paul has recently turned his attention to the WWE – where he will team up with The Miz at WrestleMania 38 against The Mysterios.
