Deontay Wilder ‘signs trilogy contract’ with Tyson Fury set to follow Bronze Bomber this weekend as AJ targets Usyk

DEONTAY WILDER has signed for a trilogy fight with Tyson Fury on June 24 with the Gypsy King tipped to follow suit, reports say.

Revenge-seeing Wilder refused to step aside for an all-British world heavyweight unification bout between Fury and Anthony Joshua.

Tyson Fury is tipped to agree a trilogy fight with Deontay Wilder for June 24 in the next few days

Now AJ is expected to face ex-undisputed cruiserweight champ Oleksandr Usyk, possibly on August 21 or 28, before maybe meeeting Fury in December.

Yahoo Sports journalist Kevin Iole claims Wilder has now penned terms for meeting Fury next month – with the Brit heading to Vegas to also put pen to paper on a deal.

It’s the latest set of twists and turns involving the three biggest names in boxing’s top division.

Fury and Joshua seemed likely to meet this summer, with August 14 in Saudi Arabia mentioned.

But a US judge agreed with Wilder that a contract allowing him a third fight with Fury IS binding.

The Gypsy King then claimed that the Bronze Bomber wanted £14million to let him fight AJ first.

Fury scoffed at such an arrangement – meaning the trilogy fight is back on, 18 months after he stopped Wilder in seven rounds.

He posted: “What a joke @bronzebomber has become asked for 20 million to move over #joker looks like I have to crack his skull again!”

But Wilder’s new trainer Malik Scott insisted his man was only interested in fighting fury.

He said: “Wilder… had no interest in step-aside money. Y’all dealing with a whole different type motherf***a over here.

“He want the blood, not that step-aside money. ‘Retribution is upon us’.”

And Fury’s promoter Bob Arum told ESPN: “We’re not paying Wilder to step aside.

“It’s better to get rid of him. We can make Fury vs AJ for November or December.”
