DEREK CHISORA went nose-to-nose with Kubrat Pulev in a Boris Johnson mask and amazingly wasn’t booed off stage.

The 38-year-old Zimbabwe born Brexiteer and pal of Nigel Farage donned the blonde disguise in support of BoJo.

And, up against the 41-year Bulgarian nicknamed the Cobra, it might have looked to some Labour voters or ex-MPs like there were two snakes on the weigh-in stage.

But Del Boy was just trying to send a message of support to the heavyweight PM who has just lost a 12-round pasting from his own corner.

“But everyone wants to talk about the same thing – retirement.

“But I don’t listen to people, that is one thing I have learnt in this game – you listen to no one, you do what makes you happy.

“Listening to people, running around saying people have told me to do this or do that, forget that.”

The fearless villain-turned-hero refutes any claim he should hang up his gloves and points to fellow comeback kings and their popularity for much more than their boxing records.

“If you want to really know how good you are in this fight game, you have to lose and come back, he said

“Muhammad Ali lost five fights and kept coming back.

“In England we have had someone like Amir Khan who has lost a lot of fights and always bounced back.

“You can lose a fight, as long as you don’t lose the motivation to get up, go back to the gym, work hard, take a pasting and make a comeback.

“If you lose that, then you are f*****”.
