Dillian Whyte offered big-money deal to AVOID Tyson Fury fight and remain one of Eddie Hearn’s star attractions

DILLIAN WHYTE has been offered big-money deals to dodge Tyson Fury and remain one of Eddie Hearn’s star attractions.

Hearn lost the purse bid so Frank Warren is in total control of the Body Snatcher’s next bout against the Gypsy King on April 23 at Wembley.

Tyson Fury is ready to fight Dillian Whyte

Dillian Whyte has so far frustrated Team Fury

Victory on the BT Sport show will land 34-year-old Whyte £9million and the WBC heavyweight title.

But defeat would damage his brand ahead of a potential move to Hearn’s DAZN streaming app broadcasters in the future.

WBC mandatory challenger Whyte has so far resisted signing on the dotted line – much to the frustration of Team Fury.

SunSport understands Whyte’s long-time promotional partner Hearn has offered him an alternative career route.

The Matchroom boss – who has his shows broadcast on streaming app DAZN – wants to keep one of his star attractions away from Frank Warren and his BT Sport backers.

But only a guaranteed rematch with Anthony Joshua and perhaps a third clash with fans’ favourite Derek Chisora could make up for turning down a WBC world title shot and £6million basic purse for challenging Fury.

Despite the hold up on getting the fight signed, Fury has remained hard at work in preparation.

Eddie Hearn has a plan for Whyte

The WBC are also anticipating that it will go ahead, having even prepared a one-off ‘Union Belt’ for the contest.

Whyte, however, has remained silent throughout.

Fury’s US promoter Bob Arum recently labelled him ‘a damn fool’ for holding things up.

While the Gypsy King himself has jokingly set up a JustGiving page to fund Whyte attending a press conference – offering to donate 47p to the ‘useless dosser’.

Fury’s father John believes Whyte wants ‘putting in an asylum’ if he passes up the opportunity to fight his son for the belt.

He said: “Get the contract signed, fight, get your beating, and on with your job.

“At least the consolation prize is you can count $8million (£5.8m)

“But I don’t know what’s wrong with you pal – if you decline $8m, you want putting in the asylum.”
